Altitude Music Society is committed to fostering a safe and inclusive community event. In order to do so, Altitude Music Society requires that all participants understand and agree to this Code of Conduct in relation to all activities regarding the festival.

**Security Checks**

 All attendees are subject to security checks upon entering the festival grounds to ensure everyone's safety. â€‹â€‹

**Banned Items** 

Unauthorized or potentially hazardous items, including weapons, illegal substances, outside alcohol, glass containers, laser pointers, and any items deemed dangerous by security personnel, are strictly prohibited.

**Photography and Recording**

Respect for Privacy

We welcome you to capture memories that last a life time! We ask to keep in mind to always seek consent before photographing or recording others.

**​Medical Emergencies**

Prioritize Your Well-Being

In case of a medical emergency, attendees should immediately contact festival staff or visit the nearest medical tent, to be clearly marked on map & grounds

**Respect & Cooperation**

**Follow Staff Guidance**

Attendees must promptly comply with requests and instructions from festival staff and security personnel.

**Respect the Festival Crew**

Our staff and volunteers dedicate countless hours year-round to creating an unforgettable festival experience for everyone. They work tirelessly behind the scenes and on the front lines to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and well-organized event.

All attendees are expected to treat festival staff and volunteers with kindness and respect. Any form of verbal abuse, including yelling, aggressive language, threats, or disrespectful behavior, will not be tolerated. Disruptive or hostile conduct toward our team may result in immediate removal from the festival grounds without a refund.

We ask that you approach any concerns or requests with patience and understanding—our team is here to help and wants to make your experience as enjoyable as possible!

The Following Actions will Result in a

WARNING

and/or

IMMEDIATE EJECTION

from the Festival:

  • Possession of banned items.

  • Offensive or abusive language.

  • Obscene or offensive gestures, including the use of offensive imagery and symbolism on banners, signs, and other visual tools.

  • Engaging in activities that is insulting or pose a risk to oneself or others, including climbing structures not intended for public use, is forbidden. 

  • Violence or engaging in any harmful behaviour to self or others.

  • Damage, destruction, vandalism or theft of any property.

  • Disrespecting or damaging the festival grounds, urination or defecation in the river and/or outside of a proper public restroom.

  • Sale of illegal substances.

  • Accessing restricted areas without adequate credentials.

  • Creating potential fire risks.

  • Gaining unauthorized access to the festival grounds without a valid ticket, or assisting someone else in entering without a proper ticket.​

Any individual who violates this Code of Conduct may be IMMEDIATELY removed from the festival grounds and have their festival wristband confiscated and camping privileges revoked, without refund.

Law enforcement may be notified.

Please contact altitudemusicfest@gmail.com if you believe you’ve observed or experienced a violation of this Code of Conduct, and Altitude Music Society will work to assess the situation and to respond as soon as possible. Please remember that notifying Altitude Music Society does not constitute or replace a notification to local law enforcement.​
